AOC Accounting is built by Strategic Asia — a software company founded in Singapore, working with finance and accounting teams since 2015.
Our story
Strategic Asia started as a small software team in Singapore in 2015. The pattern we kept seeing in our clients’ finance departments was the same everywhere: capable accountants losing days each month to moving numbers between systems — payables in one tool, receivables in another, and a general ledger that only agreed with both after a long reconciliation.
AOC — Accounting on Cloud — is our answer: a combined ledger where AP, AR, and GL are one product, journal types bend to the entity instead of the other way round, and reports exist the moment a journal posts. What began with a handful of Singapore clients now runs closes for teams served from four offices across Southeast Asia and the United States.
We are deliberately a product company, not a body shop: the same team that configures your ledger builds the software, so what you ask for in a demo has a way of turning up in a release.
